Seasonality

The Caribbean enjoys a wonderfully consistent climate throughout the year, making it a destination that works well in every season with thoughtful planning. Average daytime temperatures remain steady at around 26–29°C year-round, with gentle trade winds helping to keep conditions comfortable and pleasant. There are no sharp temperature extremes, and unlike some destinations, the region does not experience strong tidal fluctuations, meaning beach and water activities remain reliable and easy to plan.

The peak season from December to April is characterised by warm, dry days, lively calendars and the strongest international flight schedules. The shoulder months of May, June and November bring a slower pace, fewer crowds and excellent value, while maintaining the same inviting temperatures. Late August through October coincides with the height of the Atlantic hurricane season and is generally the least predictable period — while many days remain sunny and warm, this window is best avoided. Islands of Aruba and Curasao are away from main hurricane belt and therefore claim to be safe for travel during September and October.

Overall, the Caribbean’s consistently warm climate and gentle tides allow travel to be tailored around personal preferences rather than strict timing — and we’re always happy to advise on the best islands and dates for your clients.
